fishing near brooks (other than newell)

hey guys, am down in brooks for a few days and interested in doing a bit of fishing, ive been out on newell plenty of times but am looking for something different. pike most likely as i do a lot of trout fishing up north, will be fishing from shore. doesnt need to be anything big, just some hammer handles will do.
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
