I got some pics i want to post of my 24 pound lake trout but either my file is to big or the pic size is to big....

Its simple as JTS has said , set up a Photo bucket account and when you come to the forum to post your picture , post the [IMG] Code .

Upload to a web hosting service like image shak or photobucket. Copy the url of the photo (be sure to use the direct link) and paste it between the image syntax. Type "yourcopiedurl.jpg" without the quotation marks and it will display here right in the thread without any links or anything to open. (reason i used quotation marks otherwise it would convert it and try to link that picture, this is built into the forum software).

Ok, better yet. Step by Step...

Sign up at photobucket. Follow instructions. It's free. Create an album called Fishing (not necessary but you can if you want). Upload photos, set option to automatically resize to something reasonable like 800x600 in the REDUCE TO file. Browse you computer, select the picture, upload.

Once uploaded, you can "return to album" without leaving tags or comments. Once here, copy direct link:

http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp140/nicemustang11/Fishing/post2.jpg

Then paste that in your post between the tags:

[img]http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp140/nicemustang11/Fishing/post3.jpg

And your click post, and it will convert the syntax and display your photo.
