Thank you to all the staff at fishin hole south edmonton. Always a pleasure seeing all of them. Great group of people.

I got someone hooked into ice fishing last week, so they trusted me to go buy everything needed to get them started. (they stayed home during the shopping spree) I think I made some pretty good purchases.

To those wondering why I leaned towards the ion before any other electric auger is because it offered a 3 year warranty over 2 from strikemaster or the jiffy with 2 years on the drill head and 1 year on the drill bit.

Good they have 3 year warranty, hold on tight it happened in Mb.

They only had the 24v available at the time.

That is a nasty break

That is the older model of the Ion so Hopefully that doesnt happen to this R1

I have a G1 and this will be its 4th season...mines not abused but it isn’t handled like a baby either. Looks like that one had help breaking...maybe not...either way I’m happy with Ion and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one.

My ion has a broken horn too. Fell off the quad and broke at the bend, pretty thin stuff.
