Not sure if we are still in a “bait crisis” but if so, the Manning crossing Canadian tīre had LOTS in stock tonight!!! You can thank me by sending me gps coordinates to a 14” perch. 🤪

The pet stores always have lots of stock of mealworms, superworms, maggots, live crickets, nightcrawlers and red wigglers and you get more in a container than the bait dealers for the same price. They stock them for lizard feed. I buy mealworms and live waxworms at PetSmart!

I heard Parkers Minnows has closed their doors.
Hopfully they will reopen.

Has any one seen any parkers for sale ...or any minnows ?

I had heard early on it was likely going to be tough to find frozen minnows etc so I stocked up enough for the winter right after deer season when retailers received their first orders.

lots of minnows in Calgary now . no parkers that I've seen , just Evergreen ones . they look good though
