Waterfowl hunter looking for my first Lab. Always had German shepherds but now I am starting to do some research for my first Duck dog. Looking for a lab that can be part time retriever, but also a good home dog that's good around my kids. Price doesn't matter, just want a dog with a good temperament and solid health history.

Any suggestions of breeders would be appreciated.

I think we need a sticky for hunting dog info. Lol seems like every other day we have this same thread pop up.

Not to be “one of those guys” but a brief search will turn up lots of info. Heck halfway down the first page here tonight there’s a gun dog thread. And generally speaking the same info tends to pop up.
