Smoky in Willmore

Anyone ever fish the smoky in Willmore? Is the fishing worth packing in a rod?

we brought a rod with us and we caught a brook trout on sheep creek. it was just a small one though but we also didnt really have time to fish but yea bring a rod if you dont have problmes packing it

Check the regs, I think the Smokey is closed in the park after August. Sparky I think you may have caught a bull trout, that could get expensive for you if you kept it. Fished that creek for close to 40 years and never caught a brookie.

i didn't catch it but there was black on this fish. There was little black spots on the sides of this fish. they caught it at sheep creek falls

Might have been a dolly. Not a brookie thats for sure, not in the sheep anyway.
