Help with identifying this equipment

I am hoping someone can help identifying what I think is an old piece of logging equipment. Are there other uses? Any assistance in identifying this is appreciated. Thanks.

Agreed. I think it’s a hoist too. Don’t think it’s a skidder. Too light of boom, would lift way higher than needed and you would drive it backwards.
