Homemade Pontoon

Hey all

Looking for some advice. Not building advice but legal advice e. I've tried searching online and I'm not finding anything helpful.

I'm planning to build a small pontoon boat for fishing this summer. I have a design and know what I'm using to build it.

I dont think I'll be putting an engine on it, I just plan to paddle it. Do I need to worry about any special regulations for constructing a boat.

Not sure what your asking but no there is no regulation on build your own boat. Under 10 hp no registration. Think about people on a tire tube floating around. Same thing. I build my own pontoon boat 15 years ago. Still have it. I had a 30 lb electric motor on it. Was awesome for floating the bow and small lakes.
