So I did an overnighter this weekend and well I managed to make a video out of it. Caught a respectable walleye ate some fresh fish and had a blast sleeping in the eskimo 949i

I admit I kinda chuckled where you just finished saying you were using 6 lb line and had to take it easy, then tightened the drag a few clicks and snap! Lol
I snap line on the hook set when it does break on me. I like a stiff hook set then immediately slack some drag off. However sometimes my hook set is a bit much I guess.:sHa_sarcasticlol:

I ran the big buddy heater on low all night with the doors crack at the bottom a couple windows opened up and a tent fan on low. To wake up I used the sound of someone drilling a hole lol.

I did that last week and I missed the morning bite lol gonna set an alarm next time.

Heading from Calgary to Slave in 2 weeks with my son. How do you think the weather and ice will be? Was out 2 years ago, same time frame and had 30" of ice and alot of snowdrifts...LOL.

The auger was drilling at 6am so I got in the water befor the sun was shining.

Night time lows are below zero and daytime highes are about 6 degrees so the ice should be fine. Their isnone day of rain but that could turn into snow depends on the weather.
