Send them straight to Shimano in Peterborough.

It'll cost a few $$$ in shipping and $30 for the service, but well worth it. Turn around time is quick and they'll come back better than new. I've been VERY happy with the results on both my spinning reels and a couple of Tekotas.

I took a Shimano reel into the Reel Doctor in Edmonton. It came back more screwed up than when I took it in. Cost me $60 in repairs and shipping. When I called about it, he blamed it on one of his other workers. You’d think they’d check out quality before it went out the door. He said bring it back, a 2 1/2 hour drive, and they’d look at it again, but didn’t know if it could be fixed. He did t seem too concerned in customer service as far as I could tell. Next time I will go straight to Shimano.
