Don't think I'd heard of it till this thread.

Few years back (... in the galaxy far far away, before horrible virus decimated the lands) DC comics universe tried to launch its response to Marvel's Avengers. It failed quite miserably. IIRC Zack Snyder directed the first version, but there was some controversy about his vision, or he quit because his daughter's suicide, not sure why. But, anyway, now he did the complete recut if the movie, made it (as it turned out) 4 hours long.

Personally haven't seen it, seen the original... Meh... Not sure i want to water 4 hour of my life on the new one. Even though Gal Gabot is in it.

For free, legally, it's streaming on HBO Max. For free without subscription services.... I heard there's this thing called internet, people say you can find anything there.

It’s free on ours but we subscribe to Movie Central and HBO on Shaw Direct so maybe that’s why.

thanks for sharing that. I saw the other version and it sucked big time, this cut is pretty awesome, even the 4 hours were worth it. Now I know why

Gonna watch it this weekend. I didn't mind the Whedon cut but it was definitely forgettable/below average. No idea how I'm gonna stay awake for 4 hours though.

Over 7 hours. I cannot imagine sitting through it in a theatre.
BTW...it was actually worth the time invested watching it.

I started last night but internet slowdown stopped crave.

We weren't really excited about what we saw, seemed like a lot of fluff and thrown in junk, hoping it gets better.

Haven't watched it, but even the trailer seemed to have very obvious CGI scenes.
