Had a gopher move in under the front step took a expired can bear spray as I had no gopher trap sprayed under the step and it left.

Bear spray comes with an expiry date? So it's only effective on gophers, not bears once expired?

I’ll be reporting you to PETA for using bear spray on a gopher how cruel

I’d like to figure out how to rig my old ones to trigger when the local trespassing critters try to use my wife’s raised garden bed for a litter box!
I wonder if just spraying it around the perimeter would deter them.

It will definitely deter anyone from using flip flops around your garden for a while.

The only thing I will ever spray a bear with is high velocity lead! Forget pepper.
