Anyone been out to Carson Lake lately, hows the ice and the fishing?

We were the only ones out on the lake today. Still 28" of ice. The bite was off, caught a couple pike at Little Mcleod.

Thanks, saves me a drive from Edson, I drove by there a couple months ago and only saw one group out on the ice, years ago this was the lake to go to summer and winter.

What’s the size class like there? Have fished it once and only had one maybe 20”, and saw someone keep another maybe 23”. Also any idea about the whites there?

We caught a 24" and a 23". We didn't target whites, as they are my nemesis. I have never had success fishing for lake whites. But when I'm flyfishing for trout I catch plenty. Lol
