Toying with a new 20 HP for my mid 90’s WC14 Lund.
The outboard stock is low low now so I figured now was the time to make the move.
Looked at a 25 HP Merc but they jump from 2 cyl to 3 and the added weight.

Picked it up yesterday, The model is Honda BF20DK3 SHSC, 4 stroke elec start.
It’s a move up from my mid 70’s 20 HP Merc 200 series, ha.

Walleye results are 6 days away, billy billy..

Tks,
Yes and your 15 and my old 20 will fetch a fair price too with the limited used units on the market right now.

You guys picked the perfect time to upgrade. You have the ability to wait for the new one to show up and you will get nearly as much for the used one as you paid for the old motor new because there are a ton of people who just want it now. Have to report back and let us know how the new ones are working out.:)

20 4 stroke works nice with that boat.
You'll find it isn't over powered.
I have a 20 merc on my wc-14. And i especially like the Power trim and elec start.
Its trailered and engine stays on the boat tho as dismounting it ain't worth a hernia and slipped disc.
