Boat Selling Question

Hi Everyone,

The family has grown up and moved out on their own. We are going to be selling our 18 ft 135 hp bow rider Larson.

Any tips on where to list it ... I have heard Facebook Marketplace is better than Kijiji.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. It's in very good shape (its a 2000 year) so I anticipate it will find a new home with a good family.

I have had more luck with Kijiji than FB marketplace. However, I have had even more luck selling to the good people here on AO's Buy 'n Sell.

I suppose it really has to do with what it is that you're selling. Pictures help a lot.

A boat in half-decent condition should sell pretty quick these days.

Post it everywhere - larger audience, more potential buyers!

Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, UsedCalgary.com, UsedEdmonton.com and here on AO Buy & Sell.

For what it's worth my suggestion is; put it on here for at least a few weeks. While I have not sold / given away a lot of stuff, everyone I have met and sold to has been 100%.
Kijiji was disaster for me, tire kickers and folks that arrived with out the $.
