ATA Trappers Convention

I sure hope, that those of you who follow this portion of the message board, have not forgotten about the upcoming convention in High Prairie, the weekend starting the 22nd of June. It starts, Fri., with lots of skinnning demos and many informative minnie seminars and lots of other neat s---. Come and meet some very interesting people and next year, return to meet them as friends.

Wished I could be there but I'm on a fly-in fishing trip that same weekend. For those of you who have never been to a Trappers' convention, you should check it out. The general public is welcome and there is a ton of displays and demonstrations. And trappers are the salt of the earth and great people to talk with.

Sorry you can't make it to the conv., Rob. Was looking forward to talking with you, but I totally understand about a fly-in. Maybe next year, wherever that may be. Will find that out this weekend as well. Have a good trip--Doug

I had been emailing Linda about setting up a display booth, but it will have to be next year now, just ran out of time, too short of notice to head up to High Prairie. So next year.

Again, I'm having to say, sorry, to another person who can't make it to the conv. That's to bad Tree Bark. I know there would be a lot of interest in what you would bring to the "party". A lot of trappers, are seriously considering using them for security. This is not a new thing and is being used by some already. I believe ,I will be doiong the same in short order. The bush is not like it used to be or maybe it's just the people. Hopefully next year !! Doug
