We’re would you launch if you go to LLB? I saw on the Sir Winston Churchill site that the Boat launch will be closed from August 30 to September 5, 2021 for repairs. Is the water that low?

At one of the other 6 launches around the lake. I never launch at Churchill.

Depends what youre launching. I often launch at old trail. Google LLB launches and you will find locations

Depends where you plan on fishing. Like mentioned above, old trail launch is good. Decent sized lake though so pick a launch close to where you plan on fishing.

I may have changed the direction of this post by bringing up the boat launch, but to get to the original question, can anyone provide a water clarity status of LLB? Is it semi clear or all full of the BlueGreen algae?

Very green as of August 24th. Haven't been around since then. Old trail launch was fine unless you're launching a brute.
