How far is that camera from the hole? I always wonder if my camera spooks them if it too close to the line

ThanksI haven't found my camera to spook them much, but I usually have it near the top of the ice pointing downward. I'd say I'm about 2ft from the hole on mine.

They love to "mouth" the hook.

That guy is more than worthy of a thread of his own. Very nice fish. Did you get a size on him?

No measure on him. Took the video during the fight, popped the hook out, and released.

Recorded this with a Hero 9 btw, upside down on a pole through the ice.
