Anybody tried this one yet? This thing is on sale for nearly half the price of a K-Drill at TFH. Looks pretty plastic-y but if it does its job and doesn't crack in the cold I don't care what it's made of!

many brands are moving towards composite plastic flites now just to make it lighter. It should still last as long as you take care of it. I say its a really good value. As long as it can drill holes. Its not a race like everyone actually makes it out to be. It also sure beats cranking a hand auger all day LOL

I know Scott did a first impression video I'll drop the link below for it. Its brand new and was released a few weeks ago so not to many people have their hands on them yet. But yes these composite flights are the way most are trending now in the electric world to save on weight and are very durable.

Pulled the trigger on it today. Met Scott at TFH today and pretty much handed him my wallet lol.

It's gonna be so nice going from a bulky 35lb gas auger to a compact 10lb drill combo!

Jiffy seems to be flooding the market with these. They're everywhere! Good timing for them with Eskimo pooping the bed with their supply chain and StikeMaster seemingly focusing on full units. Let us know if they're any good when you get a chance to try one. :happy0034:

I got out with it today and was super impressed. I had 10" of ice and with drill set on speed 1 out 3 (1 being lowest) I was though the ice in less then 10 seconds. Super impressed with the whole setup. I think I drilled 7 holes total and still showed full power on my drill battery.
