I wanted to reach out and see if any of the scuba divers on this site were interested in joining a trip to Socorro April 14th - 22nd, 2022. My wife and I, and a group of friends that we've met in Cozumel and have dove with over the years, planned a trip to Socorro in April 2020. Then Covid hit and everything came to a grinding halt.

We rebooked for 2022 and are still looking for about five people to fill all 16 spots. Here’s some info and pricing, etc.:
-Dates: April 14th – 22nd, 2022 (embark evening of April 14th, disembark morning of April 22nd)
-Departs: Cabo San Lucas, MX (Airport Code SJD)
-Boat: Nautilus Belle Amie
-Costs: Single occupancy Suite, $4,324.69. Superior Shared Suite, $3,984.75. Shared Stateroom, $3,459.75. These prices include the 5% tax. Additional costs: $375 per person for Socorro Park fees (will receive a $375 credit to be used on board or in the Nautilus – See Creatures dive shop), port fee ($65), nitrox, alcohol on board, equipment rental, flights, transfers.

We get 1 free spot for every 7 paid and currently have 16 spots reserved, which if we fill all, will get us 2 free spots. The “free spots” will be used to discount everyone’s cost.

Notes:
* The Mexican Government increased the park fees in early 2021 for Socorro from
$25person/year to $75/person/day. This equates to $375 per person extra for
our trip. This will be an extra charge, but Nautilus is providing a
$375/person credit to be used on board the ship for such things as rentals,
nitrox (I think?), purchase of a Nautilus Lifeline GPS radio, courses on board, other
dives through their dive shop in Cabo and I'm not sure what else.
* Regarding current Covid protocol, divers are required to get a Covid
test (PCR or antigen) within 7 days of boarding the boat and have results
with you. Nautilus will also be doing a Covid antigen test on all passengers
and crew before boarding. Additional measures such as masks in all common
areas except when eating, staggered meal times, distancing, no mask rinse
bucket, Vital Oxide disinfectant on surfaces, temperature and health checks
are currently in place.
