I noticed that there were no posts on holiday greetings!

Many of my good friends are on this Board, and I have made many very very good friends because of AO!

Over the years, I have been able to keep in touch with many a hunting and fishing bud because of our posts on AO, for which I thank our very good hosts!

While there are times were there may be differences on opinion on local and international issues between the members, we can all agree that it is our love for the Outdoors that binds us together.

As Albertans and Canadians, we really take for granted what we have in abundance. Having lived in Texas where 90 % of the land is private, and access is paid for to hunt basically domestic deer, I really appreciate our freedom and our bounty.

Having relatives in Europe who live with 60 million people in the geographic area of Alberta, I really appreciate our access to real wilderness.

For my Children who will see the prosperity and opportunity that I have enjoyed because of Alberta's oil industry, I really appreciate our economic future.

We all have alot to be thankful for, and we should remember how good our situation is compared to so many others in the World.

With that, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

For you and yours, may the New Year bring health, happiness, and another year of outdoor adventures with friends and family!
