I was lucky enough about 25 years ago to find a Remington Nylon 10. These are the single shot brother to the nylon 66 and other nylon series 22s that Remington introduced in the 60s . That 22 was for my youngest son and he still has it . As luck would have it I came across another one the other day . This one is in mint condition! The grandkids will get to plink with this one . There were about 10,000 made between 1962 and 1964 and discontinued . Apparently of that there were 2,000 smoothbores made .

Interesting how Remington was WAY ahead of its time with the nylon stocks .

I had a cooey semi auto 22. It was a jamming pos. I traded it for a nylon 66. It never failed, shot a ton of muskrats with that 22. I can’t remember what I did with that gun but I sure wouldn’t mind having it back now.

Remington did a promotion with a trick shooter that shot over 100,000 2.5 square blocks in the air with the 66 ! Google it up it was quite a feat !

Tell me about it. As a 12 year old kid I thought I would take my nylon 66 apart for a good cleaning. I had to get my uncle to put it back together.. he said never do that again.
