Overhead Shop Winch

Just looking for recommendations on a decent 120 volt overhead winch for a shop winch. Considering something good for 1000 to 1200 pounds single line lift. Lots on Amazon but some seem to be fairly sketchy and cheap. Anyone using something decent in their shops or home garages?

I have one of the princess auto ones. I think it’s 880lbs single line and 1760lbs double line. I’m very surprised with it actually. I have lifted a 2008 crew cab F150 cab off and put it on a trailer for scrap which weighed 1530 lbs at scrap yard. Didn’t grown the winch or anything. I have it on a rolling I beam frame I build in the ceiling of my garage.

My guess is you might want to get one with good/reliable lock system. You would not want to drop a motor on your pickup. Watch the ones from the far east.
