I used to buy bags of smelt at superstore and divid them up into smaller bags for the season, but now the one here in airdrie doesn't carry them anymore. Does anyone know where to buy them in bulk now?

Superstore here in Lloyd still carries them but like everything else these days it's hit and miss.

I normally don't go through a ton so the small bags at Canadian Tire are fine for me but they usually have larger ones too. Local bait shops or fishing/hunting places usually have them too, and in Lethbridge greens pop shop has bait but it's usually just worms

I get mine from T&T for super cheap. $4-5 for a bag of probably 50 or more. You can buy bigger mackerel as well

T&T for me too. If I'm going for pike, I'll usually upgrade to Chub Mackerel.

Do they have smelts with heads attached at T&T? I was there a couple years ago and they only had headless smelts
