For the most part gave up on NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS. Now it's like stay healthy, safe and happy. Get more smiles from everyone I know and all that I meet. Keep my brain occupied with good thoughts and no negative crap. Continue to look forward and leave that other stuff behind. And always try to laugh at and with friends. Guess I been doing this for a whole lot of years so nothin' new here

For 2022, I resolve to personally meet some AO members I’ve never met. Maybe out fishing, camping, hunting or I’m just passing thru your town. There are a lot of names I know with no faces. I don’t want your money. I’d be happy to just swap stories over a beer and wings. No better place to meet like minded people than here.

Less screen time, been a little to much internet and places like this over the last couple years.

Little more focus on sleep quality, shift work has really opened the eyes to the importance of good rest. Need to be some improvements around the workplace or a career change potentially.

Fish more. Hunt some. Save more money. Ignore the news and government talking heads even more. Continue preparing my family for the hard times to come. 2022 will be worse than 2021.

So yes, I’m retiring in Jan, starting the plan.
Looking forward to more camping, hunting sledding, quadding,
Milling some timber, do small time farming on our quarter and more gardening.
And visit the grand kids in BC, and spend some more time on our Cariboo gold claims.

Always worried about this decision, but the numbers look right and no shortage of activities to stay fit.

I have an old Honda CT 110 trail bike with the hi lo transmission. I resolve to get that thing mobile so I can use it for trolling grouse in the fall. That and more fishing .

Our family for the most part is healthy, my leukemia is as under control as it can be, we have our DIL almost back to her old self after her surgery to remove a brain tumor, we have 6 wonderful grandchildren, I have realized that without health and family you really have nothing.

Therefore my new years resolution for 2022 is to really try to be thankful every day for what we have and try not to dwell on all the negative crap going on in the world around me that I can't control.

Happy New Year to everyone, may you and your families enjoy health and happiness in 2022.

This is the year I get an elk. I have been buying tags and running all over the province and have never had a legit crack at one. Saw 8 or 10 this year so am getting closer lol. Also to be less angry, more thoughtful towards my family and friends, and learn to let it goooo
