One of my all time favorite SRV songs (I'm a huge fan).

You do realize he wrote Life by the Drop after getting clean and sober in celebration of the fact? Sadly, just before he died.

I got clean and sober in 88, just a year or two after he did.........so it holds a lot of meaning for me.

Sourdough, thanks for the encouragement. My Spriger struggled through the snow to help me feed the horses day before she passed. You cannot believe the heart in a faithful friend.

When I get in my cups I think of someone with whom I used to drink alone for not so obvious reasons. Long story cut short by an angry boyfriend. Sorry for the confusion.

I went to a George Thorogood concert one time. At the Max Bell. It started at 8, which was the time they opened the doors. The band played on while we bought some refreshments and then we listened to two or three songs. Then came O Canada, played in a style vaguely reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix for twenty minutes before the lights came up, the band left the stage and we were booted. Less than an hour and never again.

Now I am on a dry spell until next the new year. Cheers!

Jack Daniels,

old no.7, gentleman jack x2, bottled in bond 100 proof, winter jack and 1954 is what i drank since February 2022. The next one is single barrel. The old no.7 are 26oz x5, 40oz x2, 1.75 l x1 but not finished and looking for master distiller #5 and 6

Get another springer I have two an they are with me all the time. When one dog gets 7-8 it’s time to add a new friend an the new dog takes on the personality an allot of training of the older dog. They also turn out to be each other’s best friends.
