Happy New Year all!
I have a sight mark fixed power red dot on the WC180C and looking to upgrade it. I find with my old shooting eye, the illuminated X is hard to see
I am thinking of a light weight variable power, reasonably priced. The gun is typically a target rifle, but want to open options for varmint shooting
Anyone with a set up on one?

I just bought a wk 180c and it’s pretty awesome. I have a Leupold vxr 1.25-4 on mine. I have it in a Spuhr mount that I’m gonna mount a red dot on the side of it. Feel like that option will work out best.

it's a very cool Canadian built rifle. What ranges are you typically shooting at with your optic set up?

I bought it two days ago. Just zero’d it today at 50 yards when I had my new 22 out. I plan on having a 200 yard zero on it. Hence why I’m putting a red dot on the side. So far I like it a lot. Easy tare down and functions good with my old reloads from my bolt 223.

I’ve got a Vortex viper 2.5-10 on mine. Best factory ammo I’ve found is the federal 55 gr ballistic tips. Shoots about 1.5 moa. Zeroed at 200 it’s a good coyote gun. I’ve shot mine out to 400 with this scope.

Not yet, I want a the other magpul grip that has a little compartment in the handle for an oil bottle. I have that on my other ar and it’s wicked to have. Want to get a fore grip for it and a sling. I plan on this as a truck gun, coyote rifle, beater rifle. May look at a new trigger, I have a spare one from my other rig that is crazy nice with different weight springs I may see if it will work in this one.

I was thinking the exact same. For the price and quality, and fact it is NR, it's a very useful rifle. I also am looking at a foregrip and slings, keep me updated if you find a good fit for the rifle

First thing you guys should be doing is a trigger. The trigger on my kids old sks was about ten times better than my original trigger. I put a Geissele SSAE on mine. Made it feel like a different gun. Triggertechs also work well on them.
