I would suggest

The Legend of Awesomest Maximus

Idiocracy.

Not movies for kids

Any other classics?

Its going to be cold for a while so need some watching ideas

Ha! Idiocracy was the first thing I though of when I saw the thread title. Horrible show, and yet.....

Also I liked The Dead Don't Die. Bill Murray, Adam Driver, and some funny cameos by Iggy Pop as a zombie, Tom Waites as a crazy hermit. Selena Gomez gets killed. Great fun.

Anyone ever watch the movie Brazil? It was very quirky weird funny at the time. Now I'm starting to think it was a documentary that was before it's time. This scene is great. I can see this happening sooner rather then later. To certain segments of society.

I tracked a copy of that book down. I read it about grade 5. The kids and I read a chapter each night. They loved the book too. I’m going to have to check out the movie. Even classmates I still chum with don’t remember that book. I guess it stuck with me all these years.

I am SOOO Disappointed in all of you!!

There is only one really really bad movie to end all bad movies. It actually had a "trailer" at the end for the next movie in the saga. There was no Sequel, Prequel, etc.

That's right!

The Adventures of Bukaroo Bonzai across the 8th Dimension!

If any of you can top this one, you can take the Crown!

If you can find it; I’m sure I have you beat. It’s a Stallone movie (possibly unreleased) people just dubbed over top of. It’s called, “A man named rainbow”.

Machete Kills!!!!

I posted this before, reposting now. You can't get more free mindless entertainment than this.

Sofia Vergera shows off her various guns. Just watch the movie & you'll see.
Mel Gibson
Lady Gaga
Amber Heard
Michelle Rodriguez (nice patch!)
Cuba Gooding Jr.
Antonio Banderas
Charlie Sheen (hiding out as Carlos Estevez, role of El Presidente)
Danny Trejo (as Machete)
William Sadler
Alexa Vega
Jessica Alba (I think, check out the first scenes)
Elon Musk + SpaceX (no such thing as bad publicity)

Hope I didn't miss anyone. The actors are clearly all having a good time.

Alatriste!!!

To balance out my bad movie recommendation here's one that should have gotten an Oscar. This is told from a Spanish soldier's point of view in the 16th Century and the 30 Years War.

Main charactor is Viggo Mortensen, aka Aragorn son of Arathorn. Stunning photography, like watching a movie composed of Rembrandt paintings. Acting and script outstanding. If this came out of Hollywood it would win awards and accolades.

Just Grizzly, a work of fiction about a rogue bear terrorizing a national park. The acting is laughable but the actual attacks are LOL stupid.

This movie from 1974 had a real young Chevy Chase and Ken Shapiro in it and was rated 'restricted' back then. Really low quality 'B' class movie. Definitely not for kids and yet quite childish kind of humor. SCTV or Saturday Night Live type of format. Be warned, it wasn't worth the 3 or 4 bucks I paid to see it in a theater back then.

The Groove Tube.

Another odd 1972 movie. The first X rated animation movie. Very crude humor.

Fritz the Cat.

I see, I’ll have to look into it, on the flip side if you get the chance look into project grizzly, it’s hilarious, think similar to a kinda crazy red green making a “bear proof suit” and doing testing on it. (Wearing it and having someone hit him with a truck as an example) it’s good for a laugh.

Probably the best part of project grizzly was when he was hanging from a chopper looking for a grizzly to fight.

The first time I saw that one, it was translated to German. Even worse!

Was funny how they tried to replicate Jaws, even to the point where the bear pulls the helicopter out of the sky. But I thought for sure the Biologist guy was going to make it...

Casa de mi padre! It's a tongue in cheek parody of Spanish novellas starring Will Ferrell, Diego Luna, Gael Garcia Bernel and NIck Offerman. It is in Spanish (subtitled) but the fact that Will Ferrel only spent a month learning the language makes it funnier.

Van Wilder, Van Wilder Rise of Taj,and Van Wilder Freshman Year

The lesser known American Pie movies have some good moments in them. Naked Mile, Beta House, Book of Love. Skip the Girls Rule one, its pure feminist crap and is in no way funny.

Anything by Broken Lizard is good. Beerfest and Club Dread.
