A few nature photos

My journey has changed a bit from the days of chasing with bow and rod, to now chasing with camera and lens over the past few years. Figured I'd share a few images here with the people who appreciate wildlife so much.

I do most of my hunting with a camera these days.

Some may think it odd that I don't often carry a camera when hunting with a rifle but I don't. I hunt for meat, not for trophies or memories.

When I hunt for memories I use a camera.

If you were closer I'd invite you to join my friend and I on one of our outings.
Our primary focus is on birds by we are both nature enthusiasts so we photograph any animals we see.

We even photograph flowers and butterflies.

She's from Calgary and these outings has given her the opportunity to photograph animals she didn't even know existed, or had never seen in the wild before.
I think you might enjoy it and we certainly enjoy the company, the more the merrier as they say.

Yes it does become an obsession…I get that as it did once I started..and still does today..I hate missing what I think would have been a great picture. I used to share my pictures here but ever since the site I was using kinda went downhill I can’t seem to share any anymore, so I usually just post my pictures on FB or Twitter it seems.
Keep posting, pictures are awesome to look at..for me anyway.

I like the B&W RatThanks owl! It was a pretty special encounter with that guy. I watched him dive, then emerge and eat many times over. It was the most intimate I've been with a muskrat really observing how they do business, they're fascinating!

I think you might enjoy it and we certainly enjoy the company, the more the merrier as they say.Man, that's so kind of you! That sounds like a really great time. My partner actually is an avid nature photographer as well, we love going out and exploring new places. Let's keep in touch on that and see if we can't arrange something one of these days.
