I received this email.

So you may not agree with everyone however at least have your say.

Have Your Say on Net Zero 2030 Climate Consultation!

This message primarily concerns our Canadian members, however our international members may recognize that green activism, similar to that discussed in the video, is affecting your national, regional or municipal policies. Enjoy our reports, if you have not yet seen them.
The Canadian federal government is inviting citizens to participate in an open on-line consultation on how to achieve Net Zero 2030 targets (a subset of the Net Zero 2050 targets). The consultation closes this Friday on Jan 14, 2022.

We are concerned that ENGOs have been actively using 'cut and paste/point and click' campaigns to ramp up their messaging, while many ordinary citizens who are not part of the coordinated campaigns of ENGOs did not even know this public consultation was taking place.

Though we rarely ask our members to take any kind of action, in this instance we wanted to inform you of this open consultation, and to ask you to participate, and to let your views be known, no matter what your position may be.

This blog post includes links to the various reports mentioned in our video. You can also
encourage friends, family and business colleagues to make their views known as well, by simply forwarding our blog link: https://blog.friendsofscience.org/2022/01/11/have-your-say-on-net-zero-2030-climate-consultation/

I suggested equal environmental standards for all industry in all provinces, more emphasis on recycling lithium batteries, and windmill blades, and replacing the carbon tax with an import tax on imported oil, so I doubt they will like my suggestions.

My comments focused on the support of the extractive industries in Canada where we have stringent environmental policies and regulations. As well as around educating Canadians on the role the extractive industries have in an eventual net zero society. We cannot be demonizing industries that are crucial to the electrification / green economy. Plastics, Polymers, Litium, Copper, steel, etc will all be in high demand.

Though my submission will most likely be ignored as on the demographics section I had to check the "none of them" which equals "old white person" as every other demographic had a specific check box.

Charge on if you want to. It will be the same format as the Provincial "Town Hall Meetings". Pre screened call ins, then put on hold.

I have NEVER gotten through to talk to the MLA's on the broadcast Town Hall meetings but have talked to the "Screening Staff" a number of times.

My phone number is not that of a party member. Maybe my discussion was not meeting the agenda!

This consultation is not to force the Government to withdraw from the Net Zero 2030 Agreement, it is merely a stage to push a Green Agenda, which cannot be achieved.

Did you know that the population goal for Canada is 100 million people? Did you know that the population goal will largely be achieved by immigration?

Did you know that every extra Canadian will increase Canada's Carbon Footprint which we cannot achieve with 35 million people?

IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS, simply suggest that the population goal of the Canadian Government be abandoned and our immigration policies be capped to stop further immigration beyond a current population of 35 million Canadians.

No matter what efficiencies we may achieve, the zero net target will never occur if you keep increasing Canada's population with corresponding increase carbon footprint.

All I see from this is the feds wanting to cripple our country, economically, culturally, and fiscally.

Post National State.

Especially when a large portion of immigrants come from near-zero carbon countries to one of the coldest on earth.

They have to have larger population too pay for the 25% of Canada Workforce (Government pensions). Ponzi scheme. Retire 1 government employee, hire one too replace that person (now 2 pensions required), with growing government, need more population too pay for bloated governments. Everywhere Governments have increased in size (Fed, Prov, Muni). In fact 1940, ratio to government: private sector was 1:10. 2022 ratio 1:3.5…. Either governments reduce size or bring in more people. They chosen to increase immigration.
