Have a fleet of about 10 landscaping trucks.

Looking into dash cams...

Features I'd like:

- tamper resistant (hard wired, can't be turned off, footage deleted, etc)

- GPS monitoring perhaps, with notifications of unsafe driving behavior, etc.

What's everyone running these days ??

We run Samsara in our trucks. Quite a bit bigger fleet, not sure what the cost per unit is.

Real time monitoring, plugs into the OBD2 port so you can see engine diagnostics as well. Has an inward facing camera too.

I imagine the day when drones will be used to follow the driver when he exits the vehicle also. I can begrudgingly understand GPS and forward facing cams. Personally, I find the inward thing a creepy aspect and I already know it gets abused.
