Potential MB Provincial Record Arctic Char

This was posted on another forum I frequent but without any details as yet on length, girth, weight but it was posted by a fellow who runs a bait and tackle shop, hut rentals etc with a good reputation for producing big fish so I am sure once they know if it set a record he'll put up the details with the anglers permission. MB stocks Arctic Char in a few lakes and the stocked trout etc in the Duck Mountains area lakes are known for growing good numbers of trophy size fish. This past week this young guy caught what may be a new MB provincial record. What a tank! How cool would it be to have these stocked in some waters here where there is potential for good sized fish?!

I spend two weeks in the Ducks every summer. FIL has a cabin on East blue.

The diversity and size of fish you can catch in a 50km is just amazing. The Swan Valley guys do a great job of advocating for and making sure boat launches etc are in top condition.

Got my nephew his first 3 master anglers this summer. 24"+ Rainbow and Brown, 32" Carp. One happy 8 year old.
