What's the worth of these shells? The Sellier & Bellot are trap shells! or some info? Thanks!

i'm not sure the CIL would be allowed on a registered shoot. 1 1/4 oz shot and 3 1/4 dram powder is a little overkill.
Didn't know those were available as trap loads.
No idea on price, a collector might give you more then market.

I've bought lots of older shells like your CIL example just to collect. I rarely spend much over $10 a box.

So at $10.00 a box? I guy might as well shoot them! Right?

Well I thought it was all the same in the cases of shells! But found some other ones on the bottom! :)

Those are definitely some old boxes of shells. Maybe if you knew a gun collector or someone could put you in contact with one they might offer you more for those then an Average Joe would.

Ya maybe that's the way to go! the shells are in great condition also! Did not know Woodwards made a shotgun shell, now I know! The Winchester XPERT shell box has a price tag from the bay at $2.99 :)

At one time those C.I.L. loads were used for handicap and International trap.
It's pretty difficult to get any more money than a new box is worth it seeems these days, I have beeen shootiing older factory lloads for a few years now, the heavier stuff we use for when the Sharptails and roosters are flushing further out thann normal - and for magpies and crows.:)

I think you should have a print shop make some t shirts with the label from that Woodwards box on the front and sell them at gun shows.

Those Imperial 5's would be a good pheasant load...

Talk about inflation. Now we are paying $29.99 a box

The boxes have value to a collector.

I had about 50 boxes about 7 years ago of old shells like you are posting . Most of them are lead shot .
I placed them on hear for $15.a box , had mag loads etc .not a call so the following week the price drooped to $10. a box . I had a few calls but no one came . The price dropped to $5.00 a box . And they took a week to sell.

I wish I kept them now ,as prices have really gone up .

You should have advertised them on Ebay and a few other places as collector bits at $100 a box. They would have sold quickly.:)
