Hello all. The male plug end for my Terrova is damaged. Having trouble finding a website that sells replacements. Does anyone know where I can find one. It's the two prong style. I've easily found Attwood brand and other knock offs, but the prong configuration is different. Thanks in advance for any assistance offered. Cory

Same problem and I just bought new fittings, not hard to attach, I used the pig tail with built in soder.

Bass Pro and I got the connectors with the soder already in at Napa. Great to use, all you do is put the ends in then appy the heat to the centre of the pig tail and the solder runs easy, then the whole pig tail is also shrink sleve Best thing ever.

I'd look to move away from those minkota plugs and get something different. I have had terrible luck with the marinco plugs personally. I went with a Battery Tender DC power plug and receptacle and didn't look back. Screw locking, runs the wire down at a 90 degree angle to be less likely to get damaged. Worth it.

This may not be entirely on topic, but since it was mentioned how crappy some of Minn Kota/Marinco plugs are I figured it was worth chiming in that Minn Kota's new plug system (MKR-26) is a huge upgrade over the old designs. I went from a 55pd Powderdrive v2 to a 112pd Terrova last year and decided to upgrade my wiring, connectors and charging system at the same time. The new plug isn't cheap by any means, but I'm happy with the purchase.

Do you remember the cost of the new type of plug?

I just replaced the connections on my Minn kota and included a shut-off switch to avoid constantly pulling the plug and damaging the brass. I got original equipment from a boat dealer ($75) and bought a cut-off at Princess Auto.($20). I made an aluminium plate and included a LED light to jazz it up a little. $60.00 for prop shaft seals and 'o' ring. $30.00 for a new trim ram pin & keeper, leg oil and new vent/drain plug seals for $20.00 and my boat is ready for Spring. I am on the hunt for a used sonar not unlike a 12" Lowrance Gen. 1 advertised on here a few weeks ago but i missed out on.

I don't know the details on price as I got my new plug with my new boat but I totally concur that the new plug is light years ahead of the old one.

Try not to lose sight of what your doing. Connecting two dc cables. There are plenty of options but the Anderson plug is the most common I’m aware of and perfectly suited for this application. They cost what??? Ten bucks a set for a 50a plug and are far more robust then any proprietary plugs.
