Ok, thanks for your help. I call LLB Sporting Goods today, and they said it would be no problem to cross under?

Can do anything once… doesn’t mean it always works out:bad_boys_20:

Depends on the water level vs last year. I walked a zodiac under July long weekend and there was maybe 3" of water.

It would be nice to get a 14’ boat under the causeway instead of going around the point. Last fall I took the prop off my motor at Sir Winston Churchill point out from the beach. Was about a hundred yards offshore, and all of a sudden the water was a few inches deep. Gravel bar. I don’t know this lake very well, and that makes me nervous. Still trying to learn the lake, as I’ve only fished it a couple of times. Thanks for your replies everyone!

Be very cautious of LLB. Shallow shoals everywhere. If you are unfamiliar with the lake slow down and ensure you have decent sonar. Bathymetry maps do not show a ton of these. Also, if you are in a 14 foot tinner, always keep in mind an exit strategy if the wind comes up. It can get rough pretty fast, but certainly not as bad as places like Calling. As for going under the road at SWC, you are probably out of luck this year. Water is down

If you ever decide to go through the narrows, go between the north shore and the island. South of the island and you’ll take the leg off your motor.

Yeah, that lake makes me nervous. Be careful going around the point at Sir Winston Churchill. Nasty gravel bar there.
