wapiti and smokey river intersection

I hear alot about that area where the 2 rivers meet but where is it. I live in grande prairie and ive only fished by the bridge at obrein park. How do i get to where the 2 rivers meet. I need some directions. Is it only accessible by boat or can i drive there.

I have seen people down there on foot but I am not sure how to get there from land. I am thinking they go through the Adam ranch to get down there, of course you would have to get permission to cross the land to go through.

Better yet get a frend with a jet boat and hitch a ride :evilgrin: The river bank there is not the most friendly place to fish from that side (steep cliff) the other side of the Smoky is a nice sandy beach. The boat in my opinion is the most friendly way of getting there.
