Wondering if anyone could tell me if there is any decent spots on the red deer to kayak and fish without drifting downstream. I'd like to be able to pull out where I launch so preferably very little current where I could paddle upstream and drift or anchor. I'm not familiar with the area. Google street view shows bridges on 590, 585 and 27 with what looks to be slow water.
