Which southern lake?

Gonna take the boat out for a fish on Saturday, and can’t decide between either chain lakes, or pine coulee? Anyone have any recent updates on either? Was out on chain last weekend but not fishing, and they were jumping mid afternoon

Was at Pine yesterday. Water is starting to get low. There are a few holes at the boat launch that you have to be mindful of when loading so do not go too deep off the launch to load.

Fishn was OK but very small fish. No bait allowed Sat. or Sunday is not my favorite time to fish Pine. Too many speed boats and sea do's on the water.

Thanks for the info! I think I’ll just go back to chain based on that report! Lol
