Just a heads up. whole sale sports put their flies up $3 a dozen now they are $18 a dozen

Tying my own, although not fancy, cheaper, Trying some out tonight on those unsuspecting whitefish.:wave:

Their flies are crap anyway and I always prefer to spend my money on better quality flies and support the smaller shops for my fly fishing needs.

Im not Surprized that Wholesale sports raised its prizes . Get this they have also no long gonna have there Seasonal cataloges there going to monthly flyers . :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: I think I might have to avoid the place . Really kinda po's me off but what can one do , shop elsewhere I guess .

the icky flies are well tied and last. better than the ones i've ought from the big stores. i ordered them and had them 1 1/2 days later. and its a local company with great service

I ordered his "Bow River Pack." $30 for $36 flies, and free shipping. If he's tying them himself, I don't know how he can afford to do that. Must not have quit his day job.

I'm STILL waiting for my tools to arrive. I think I ordered them on the 6th of this month. Should have paid the extra and bought locally.

:eek: Holy Smokes! I just found them in my mailbox! He delivered them himself . . . that's insane (in a good way).

I do live pretty close to him, but I guarantee this: when I purchase flies I'll only buy them from Icky Fly Works (http://ickyflyworks.ca) in the future.

Edit: I forgot to add that these are really great looking flies.

Not the same good prices as ickyflyworks.ca , andthe shipping would take alot longer. It is an ontario company that looks more geared towards bass & steelhead
