spring water side channel thousands of carps

bow river spring water side channel is a nature's phenomenon. somehow troutnot only survive but thrive and healthy. once Crystal clear water loaded with trout. got to watch a spawning pair spawn in one foot of water on gravel bed within shallow pool cool. however someone decides they want Prussian carps In there. stupidity. how do you tell fish and wildlife. do they even care it's only about one thousand carps.these trout need help.can you even go in with some wire worm fish it. chop to pieces and throw in to feed the trout.i saw a couple 20 inches rainbows and some 12 inches.what would you guys do

Please let Fish and Wildlife know immediately. If you have seen that many Prussian carp in that old channel, this is a huge risk if spring run off sweeps them into the main river. We do not want this in that river!

Im pretty sure every body of water connected to the main rivers now has Prussian carp in the south anyways. way too late to do anything about them they are here to stay. if only they ate nothing but crayfish :fighting0074:

What part of the city is this ?I’ll have the trout returned to the main stem

They are in the Red Deer River system too.
