I love pike fishing and have only found Cow Lake to catch them in Clearwater County. Does anyone have any suggestions on other areas in the county?

Medicine lake north of rocky, red Deer River, south east of rocky as wayne says Swan lake.
Jackfish lake west of rocky. I know some are not in clearwater county but thats what comes to mind.

go straight out past the store, past Tay lake and you will eventually see the sign, its a right hand turn. fun gravel road, hopefully your passenger is braver than Flygirrl

U can try lobstick creek by leslieville there are lots of pike in there. They arent any good to eat put fun to catch. There is also the medicine river, north saskatchewan river north of rocky, clearwater river is good at the mouth of prairie creek and the NSR. Prairie creek is also good around teratema skii lodge and along the north fork road. Radial lake also has pike in it but it is tough to get too. Macgregor lake has pike too and it is atv access only.

There are some nice rainbows in Tay 20-24", mostly smaller ones though. I still see a few perch in the winter.

Is there anywhere in Swan lake where a guy could wade out in some weeds to fly fish for pike? Or does anyone know any good shallow lakes in Central Alberta where you could wade for pike? All this pike talk makes me wanna try for some this spring with the fly rod but i'm sans boat right now until i can pick it up from my buddy in July. Thanks for any help!
