I was wondering if anyone has tried using the Ice Master Adapter here in Alberta? Wonder how well it would do cutting through 24" of ice? The video on the web site only shows it cutting through 10" of ice (the ice looks pretty soft) and a 12" block of ice. Link to site http://www.icemasteradapter.com/

Thanks for all replys

Not sure...this looks like it may similar to the Auger Bud somebody else here (Sundancefisher?) posted about a little while back?

Not exactly sure what the Auger Bud consisted of though.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread...I do have a hand auger (unknown brand) and I've got a cordless drill and a few batteries, so if I can find something that'll save me some of the grunt work without going to a full blown power auger I'm all for it :)
