hi folks.....my name is Ron ......I havn't been fishing for 25 years or so.....but i am taking it up again with my grandkids Jonah and Gavin......i have dug out and sharpened my old auger and we are anxiously waiting for ice.....I am glad to have found this forum ...sure seems like a nice bunch......so HELLO ! and thanks for the many questions you have already answered in former posts

There's definitely a great bunch of people on here, very friendly and helpful. There's a couple of nitpickers around, but then again, there's at least one or two in every crowd :o

Overall though, a great, positive bunch of people here :)

Welcome to the forum. I am a newbie too.

Guess what! I have never fished in my life until this summer, and reading previous posts in this forum helped me a lot. As winter is coming, I should start to read posts on ice fishing too.

Great to have you on board. I have meet dozens and dozens of fellow board members now. Not a single one I wouldn't fish with in a heartbeat!

As for getting you out fishing...just wait until the last week in Dec and I will get you all out fishing for the odd perch that bites...and by odd...like 101 or 105...not 102 or 104 a day...
