Well , I convinced the parents to make one last trip up to the lake before freeze up. It was very cold and I got snowed on numerous times and frozen hands all the time.
Managed to land 1 lake trout (22 inches) but I lost 2 while fighting them :(.

I trolled past my summer pike spot, my rod bent over and I landed a good sized Pike , 33 inches. He was a fatty , he must've just eaten because his throat was bulging with something that was digesting.

Enjoy.

Nice pics!

Cold fingers or not, it looks like you guys had a good time :)

I'm a little disappointed that the open water season is coming to an end, but ice fishing's not that far off!

Ya nice pike that is just shy of my current personal best. Always nice to land a few fish on a cold day. Now on with the hard water.

Hey -JR-,

I was actually out of province , I was fishing in Northern Manitoba. (Mom's from their). It was great fishing and the trout were up in the shallows but lost a few. I'm happy I caught another good sized pike before hard water season.
Thank's for all the comments guy's.
Cheers,
Aaron ( AO19)
