Anybody been up to K-Country lately? i was hoping to get up into one of the hike in lakes up there sometime over the next 2 weekends? Still able to walk in or is there too much snow now?

I haven't been up there myself, but I would be extremely suprised if there was anything open now, probably all frozen.

With the temps we had I bet they are frozen.

Elbow lake has ice, thin layer but still there!!!

I was up at K lakes last weekend. The lakes are both extremely high right now. They had absolutely NO ice on them.

i would bet everything that is hike in is frozen. the small lakes do not last long.
