Does anyone here own a G30 Ground Blind 2310? I see they are on sale at Canadian Tire for $99.

I was wondering if this could possibily work of ice fishing too? Anybody know what the floor material is made of? Is it not the same pop-up construction as the Eastman Ice Cube (which is around $250)?

I have the eastmans undercover X5 blind from CT and plan on using it for ice fishing this season. its just a camo ice cube really. mine has no floor and would bet the G30 doesnt either.

Do you know how it's size compares to the Ice Cube?

Has anyone actually seen these in a Can. Tire? Dawson, Ft.St. John, and GP have none. Da Jimmer?

Hey Kreator,
are we going to meet up at cold lake again this year for lakers? If you have a tent we won't be able to see you to run over and help reel in the biggest fish again:evilgrin:
Maybe this year you can convince the wife to let you stay over at the cabin with us old guys to take care of us after we eat too much and have our "pops" !!!!!!

Salty,

We should definitely do lakers again!! That was my fishing highlight of last year!

I saw your elk. Very impressive. I haven't got my act together enough to take on the task of deer or moose yet, but I did go out with a friend who got a moose. Calling him in was a blast! I did shoot my first grouse this year, though. Yummmmmmmm...

I browsed the rest of the Cdn. Tire catalogue... noticed hand-held moose and deer electronic calls for $40 and $50. Just for moose and deer... available and in-stock in Alberta. I'm assuming a lot of wildlife photographers shop at Canadian Tire... ;)

Sorta like a poacher's head shop.... not strictly illegal, but if ya use them for what they are designed for..... LOL

CT in Lethbridge has the G30 in stock. Kreator are you asking the dimensions of the G30 compared to an ice cube? if so, I dont know, but the dimensions for the G30 are on the CT website and you could probably find them for the ice cube somewhere online. my X5 blind is 5 feet tall and 5 feet across the floor but 6 feet at the widest part of the popped out walls. I could fit 3 guys in it for ice fishing if I had to but 2 guys would have loads of room. I have the coleman black cat heater @ 3000 BTU's to heat it come hardwater season and that should be plenty toasty in that small space. hope this helps

I've seen them at two Edmonton CTs recently if that helps at all.
