Fish Finder

Hey guys, I'm looking to get myself a fish finder, but I don't know a thing about them.... I would like something that will work both on the ice, and from my canoe (or any boat for that matter) and that will cost less than $200. Any tips on what I should be looking for?

Hey Im not even a garmin owner but I was and the garmin 160 or 240 is your best bang for the buck! I had a couple in my store this year used and the customers loved em!
