NSR - Did they open a dam?

Just wondering if anybody knows if they opened up a dam on the NSR recently. Was down there last night with BBJ and we noticed that the water was up a little, and there was a LOT of junk floating down the river, including a big plastic barrel.

more then likely this warm weather causing the snow to melt in the foothills.

that would be my guess.

X2 this seems to be melt water as the levels are already coming down.
