View Full Version : Bad Cut To Finger (no pics)

I received a cut to my middle finger yesterday. It was "very bad" according to my almost three year old little girl. Truly, the only reason i put a band aid on it was to keep me from bumping it while i finished my task.

I was going to put a Diego band aid on my boo boo but was quickly stopped by my little doctor who matter-of-factly told me Deigo band aids were no good. "Daddy, you need a Dora band aid to make you feel better."

What is your opinion? Dora or Diego?

I think you've been spending too much time with Treeguy, him and his Dora Explorer pajamas scare most people.

Everyone knows that Tigger bandaids are the best.

Where's your Super Glue?

I threw that out about three weeks ago. Right after i glued my finger to one of the lenses of my glasses. The warranty on eye glass lenses DOES NOT cover super glue issues. BE WARNED!

Just glad it was not my trigger finger that has a lens attached. :ashamed:!

I know there are better than Dora and Diego. But this what the argument is about. I personally think Fred Flintstone band aids are the BOMB. However, in this house it is Dora for the bad boo boos. I have been now told that Diego is ok for the boo boos that you can't see. No sense waisting a good Dora band aid on hurt feelings i guess....

Dora all the way! That Diego just gives me a weird vibe man, and that Boots character seems like he'd rather chuck feces at a fella than give him directions in spanish!:lol:

Very good kids show actually. They're into Ben 10 right now, and just recently we've gotten teletoon retro, so the absolutly LOVE the Loonytoons guys much to my delight. Good luck in the stand man. Tell Eugene I said hi next time you see him.

I prefer the side of a red-hot knife blade up against the wound. It seems to stop the bleeding, and fer sure it kills the germs. But boy-oh-boy, does it ever hurt! :eek:

Yep, that would hurt more than the needle. Kind of like my dad's old "vinegar cures everything" remedy. He sprayed it on my road rash after I fell on my bike as a kid. Up and down, up and down so he wouldn't miss a millimetre of my boo boo. Man does that hurt, just like your red-hot knife!!
