2009 WT Buck Down

My hunting partner saw this guy at last light on Monday while trying to fill his last antlerless tag with his bow. He called me that night, and we put a plan together for the next morning (God bless him). We got into our platform stand in the dark, and started calling at first legal light. We kept calling, maybe a little more frequently that I typically would. This joker, the same buck he saw the night before, finally came a runnin' to the rattling antlers at around 8:40 am. Not much time to study him charging through the thick bush, but from what we saw we both figured he would be hard to pass up just about anywhere at 162" gross. This is my second consecutive trophy WT that came into the antlers during the pre-rut (Nov 7, 2008 and Nov 10, 2009).

Your on a roll Depop! You should post a pic of your last years w/t. If its the one Im recalling now it is a gorgeous photo. A treed perimiter around a field, frost, snow, and a big w/t. Might not be remembering right either though. If I am its a dandy picture though. Congrats again.
